Hey Brenda! Good of you to respond!

Let's see, I think we saw the same video clip about Josh not being able to read music, he must play by ear...so I understand. Other than that, haven't heard or read anymore in regards to it. I didn't know you were at odds about your job, ((hugs)) to you. What a blessing to feel carefree when you've been worried. I teach first grade and also teach a reading group. A lot of work goes into that and it's rewarding in the long run. I do pray to enable me to teach everyday. When the day comes that it's no longer fun, that's the day I retire! Have a great Wednesday! Yes, we'll 'talk' later! ~Gladys

    Thanks Brenda,

Hope this finds you well. As for me, just busy that's all. Sounds like your weekend was lovely! Young love....ahhhh, get to see it with our oldest and his girlfriend, it's their 1-1/2 year anniversary this Friday, and they will celebrate by going out for dinner in Seattle. Have a great rest of the week.

    ((hugs)) ~Gladys

Hi Gladys, Good to hear from you. I have a question---this is Josh related. Do you know if he can read music? I saw on a video clip somewhere that he can't. Somehow, I just don't believe that. Perhaps I can snoop around jg.com and find out for sure. I am feeling so happy and carefree right now because of finding out I still have my job. I am so thankful. We have to have our jobs in this day and time---too hard to make it on one income anymore. By the way, what grade do you teach? I bet you are super---you're such a sweet person. Well, take care and I'll "see" you later! Brenda

Thanks again, Brenda, teachers are at times not appreciated, especially when parents kiddos' are their "perfect little angels" and can't do no wrong...blah.. We do the best we know how. Bet you were a fun music teacher!! For some, it's not their cup-of-tea, and, like you, move on to a job suited for them. Great to hear you see one of your daughters on a semi-daily bases. Does she live close by?

Our boys are doing well -- our oldest is working construction, making money to pay off of his college loan. Although he's indecisive on what to do in regard to a career. He's busy on weekends visiting with his girlfriend--they make a cute couple--there may be wedding bells in the future...perhaps? Our middle son is working, but alas he only went to one quarter of college last fall and he told us that he rather not spend our money going to college if he wasn't getting anything out of it. So he's now working in a sub-management position for the theater at our local mall. We're praying he does go back and get at least his AA degree.

Our youngest is a freshman in H.S!! Can't get over how fast he's grown-up. The second week of school is almost done and he's been asked to the homecoming dance already! It's a good thing that we know her parents and they attend our church. They are both fourteen and her parents, as we, thought it a great idea they go in a group date instead of a real date. So they'll be going with three other "couples" next month to the dance. He'll be playing basketball this Winter and baseball next Spring. So glad we enjoy watching those two sports. How fun you'll have with your parents this weekend! Enjoy the good food and the shopping, glad your husband can anticipate having a 'real' great time on your trip. My husband, his dad, our oldest son and his girlfriend's dad will be a foursome in a golf tournament come Saturday. I'll have a quiet day while our middle son works and our youngest stays at a friend's house.

That's right Yuku is a lot like myspace, IMO, Yuku is more user friendly. I had to ask our middle son to help me out on my page for myspace! I think a wrote out an book installment! image

May you and your family have an awesome time this weekend!! Take care, hun! ((hugs)) ~Gladys
